G'Naf Klaah II.
My Oblig 03 character concept. He turned out pretty good, for being my first ever "completed" character. He was made by utilizing the power of Polyboost and Max 09, along with a little help from Zbrush. Creating a basemesh in Zbrush using zspheres, it went from there to Max again. Allowing Polyboost to draw ontop of the high-res Zbrush mesh, creating the nice and clean topology needed for a project like this. I believe the above video is a Mental Ray render, while the one on right is a Vray light test, methinks, to check out the lights interacting with the normal map. |
I was really happy about how G'Naf looked when I could call him "finished". But now, some good time later, i really dont like the design no more. Check back at a later time for a update on this... It is in the works, as can be previewed here.

Teh Randomness.
Oblig02. What can I say, the name says it all. I guess there's no need to say that this could have gone better. Poor cooperation with a man who wont talk, no offence dude, and somewhat moderate skills within 3d, made this a project that was hard to do. Not the best video and composition ever, but it is what it is, Randomness.
